You Shouldn't Have to Hope for a Good DJ.

  1. Is the DJ Insured?
  2. Will the DJ discuss the music selection ahead of time and be playing requests?
  3. Do they use professional equipment?
  4. Will there be back-up equipment at my reception/event?
  5. Does the DJ know the proper etiquette for my reception/event?
  6. Will the entertainment be set-up prior and be ready at the start of the reception/event?
  7. Does the DJ provide a written contract?
  8. Will they be suitably dressed for the occassion?
  9. Do they belong to a professional organization or trade group?

  • 72% of all brides say they would have spent more time choosing their reception entertainment.
  • Almost 100% say they would have spent more of their budget on the entertainment.
  • During wedding planning, Brides say their highest priority is their attire, followed by the reception site and caterer - reception entertainment is among the least of their priorities. Within one week after their reception, 78% of Brides say they would have made the entertainment their highest priority!
  • When asked 81% of guests say the thing they remember most about a wedding is the entertainment.
